1990 Ford Mustang

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer a very unique 1990 Ford Mustang LX Convertible. At first glance this car may appear to be your typical Fox Body convertible, but upon closer inspection this one is quite nicely upgraded. The first thing you may notice is the beautiful set of 5 spoke chrome Cobra R style wheels. Wrapped in Goodyear 245/45/17 rubber, the wheels have a high shine, and the tires have healthy tread. Once you're a little closer you can see the subtle flame paintjob that has been done. The whole car was repainted about 7 years ago including a high gloss red with beautifully done flames on the front end. The stretch over the Cervini cowl hood, and along the sides of the car. Perhaps the most interesting upgrade that has been made to this Mustang is under the hood. The car still retains its original 5.0L V8 with under 54,000 original miles. The stock 5.0 has been nicely enhanced with a Ford Motorsports BD-10 Supercharger. The Supercharger helps get more air into the engine, but it needs to be able to exit just as efficiently; so a set of exhaust headers and stainless steel dual exhaust do the job. Inside the original red cloth interior is in wonderful shape. The car is equipped with A/C, AM/FM/CD/Cassette, power convertible top, cruise control, lumbar support, power steering, power brakes, power locks, power windows, seat belts, driver airbag, and chrome wheels with directional radial tires. This is a very well maintained, garage kept car with a clean CarFax report. The car behaves well on the street and could easily be a daily driver, show car, or just a sunny day cruiser.
