SeatbeltsFor sale in our St. Louis showroom is a stunning 1996 Ford Mustang Mystic Cobra. The SN95 body style replaced the long running Fox body and added more modern curves to the Mustang. In 1996 the 5.0L was no more and was replaced with a more modern 4.6L V8. The best variant of the 4.6L was the dual overhead cam 305 HP V8 found in the Cobra. The 1996 Cobra could hit 60 MPH in 5.5 seconds and run a 1/4 mile in 14 seconds flat. Those are pretty good numbers for a 4 seater car with A/C, premium CD stereo, and power leather seats. The rarest and possibly most unique of the Cobra Mustangs are the Mystic Cobras. In 1996 they made 1,999 Mystic Cobras, only available in hard top coupes. These cars were the same mechanically as standard Cobra Mustangs but featured a stunning color changing "chameleon" paint. Depending on how the sun hits it, the paint appears blue, purple, or green. The color is referred to as Mystichrome. This particular Mystic Cobra is in phenomenal condition and has just over 12,000 original miles! The paint finish is stunning and hardly shows any wear. The interior is black leather and still looks new. Of course this one has all the goodies: A/C, AM/FM/CD, power leather seats, power steering, power windows, power steering, power brakes, power locks, keyless entry, leather wrapped steering wheel, and full instrumentation with white face gauges. This car has been tastefully upgraded with 5 spoke chrome wheels wrapped in Bridgestone rubber. It has aftermarket stainless steel exhaust that rumbles like a Mustang should. Other upgrades include cold air intake, strut tower brace, and 1" lower suspension. This is a rare car that is certainly a collector's item.
