The Mach 1 performance package was introduced in 1969 and was one of several available packages. The Mach 1 package was only available on Sportsroof or "Fastback" Mustangs. A variety of V8 power plants were available, but this one features the largest: a 428 CID V8 with Ram Air induction and a 4 barrel carburetor. This "R Code" Cobra jet is rated at 335 HP and a stump pulling 440 Lb. Ft. of torque. This Mach 1 is finished in possibly the most recognizable Mustang color, Wimbledon White. Being a Mach 1 Ram Air, the exterior is adorned with red side striping and matte black hood. Making this car very rare is the fact that the interior is also white. There are not many white on white Mach 1s out there, but it sure is an attractive combination. In addition to a rare color combo, this car is also loaded to the hilt with options. The most important ones include: automatic transmission, air conditioning, power steering, power front disc brakes, fold down rear seat, tilt-away steering wheel, speed control, tachometer, trip odometer, tinted glass, and AM radio. With these options and the colors, this car is a 1 of 1. The car comes with an Elite Marti Report to verify its originality.
