Vinyl InteriorFor sale in our St. Louis showroom is a gorgeous 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 painted in Silver Frost with Sterling Gray stripes. This isn't your typical GT350 tribute. When this fastback was restored, it was done to the owner's liking and included some very tasteful modifications. The 289 is now a 302 with aluminum heads with Fast Burn chambers, a tri power intake with Holley 250s, Pro-Comp coil and electronic distributor, PBM Strike Force camshaft and Tri-Y headers with 12" resonators to help quiet things down just a little. Backing up this power is a complete new clutch assembly including the flywheel mated to a 4 speed Top Loader transmission (Hurst shifter) to a Ford 9" rear end with 3.50 rear gears and posi-traction. Keeping all of this power planted to the ground are sub frame connectors, traction bars, Total Control front suspension with adjustable coilovers, tubular A-arms and Shelby quick ratio steering. Slowing this sweet fastback down is now problem either with power front disc brakes and all new lines. With this Mustang not only will you look cool, but also feel cool with a new under the dash A/C. Some other items of interest are new tail lights, door handles, fiberglass hood, trunk lid, rear quarters, doors, fenders and valances. There is also a new interior consisting of a headliner, door panels, seats, carpet and dash pad. All of this is riding on a new set of Pacer aluminum 5 spoke wheels with new Goodyear rubber.
