The Collector Edition is located in our St. Louis showroom and was one of two special trim packages in the 1996 model year, and there were only 4,031 coupes built. With only 19,729 original miles, this one is about as clean as they come! At the center of the package is the LT4 engine, which is exclusive to the 1996 model year. It gave this Vette 330 horsepower (a 30 hp increase over the base LT1 engine) as well as Grand Sport lettering on the intake, higher compression, Crane roller rocker arms, an increase in the RPM redline, and it was only available with a six speed manual transmission. All Collector Edition's were painted Sebring Silver with silver painted five spoke aluminum wheels, and this one has black leather interior with sport seats embroidered with "Collector Edition" right on the seats. This particular Vette was also ordered with electronic air conditioning, Delco/Bose music system featuring an AM/FM/CD/Cassette radio, six way power driver's seat, blue glass removable targa top, and low tire pressure warning. It also has daytime running lights, a cargo mat, dash mat, door sill covers, body contoured splash guards, cruise control, heated seats with lumbar support, power steering, power brakes, power locks, power windows, anti lock brakes, tilt and telescopic steering column, driver's and passenger's side airbags, anti theft system, and run flat radial tires.
