Vinyl Interior1968 Ford Mustang California Special. These were cars built specifically for sale in California dealerships and borrowed body effects from Shelby. The Shelby effects include the fiberglass deck lid with molded spoiler, front hood locks, quarter extensions, side scoops, Shelby sequential taillights, and Lucas fog lamps. Badging on the side scoop let you know that this was a special car, as around 4,275 were built. This was a rust free Nevada car to start and received a full restoration in 2005, all back to original. Pictures of the restoration are provided with the car, along with a Marti Report, the California Special Registry, and a calendar this car was featured in! Original 289 CID V8 and C4 transmission were overhauled and hardened valve seats added to accommodate unleaded gas. All new suspension parts, new dual echaust, GT Cyclone wheels, all new interior, car cover, black vinyl top which is a rare option, and much more.
