1927 Ford Roadster Pickup with a lot of custom touches. This '27 body sits on a 1932 style frame with a 1932 heavy front axle by Mordrop with 12" Ford brakes in the front. The rear axle is a 1955 Ford passenger car axle with 3.89 gears, 11" ford brakes, and split and drilled radius arms all around. The engine is a Flathead V8 out of a 1949 Ford that has been bored and stroked to a 286 CID, and puts power to a 5 speed manual from a Chevrolet S-10. Offenhauser heads and intake with three Stromberg 97's providing the fuel with progressive linkage. The intake has been drilled and tapped and has a hidden PCV in the valley and the block has been drilled and tapped for a full flow oil system. The cam is an Isky 400 Jr. copy, with Isky springs, and Johnson lightweight adjustable lifters. Custom one off radiator from a 1928 that was chopped to fit the cowl on the 1927. Mandrel bent exhaust, Flatattackracing headers, all coated by HPC inside and out. Custom steel gas tank that holds 16.8 gallons of the 89 octane this car requires. This car was built in 2004 but made to look like it was built in the 50's hot rod era. The radial tires, Coors can overflow, the oil filter, and nyloc nuts on the shocks are the only give aways to when it was built. This car ran a 16.83 at the HAMB drages with mufflers and street tires. Please, call 800-231-3616 or 618-271-3000 for additional details.
