This well-restored pony car has only been driven 50 miles since its complete restoration. A highly-optioned car when new, everything is working properly including the engine, the C-4 transmission, power steering, AM radio, and the factory-installed A/C system. This beauty keeps herself looking her best with new whitewall tires, deluxe wheelcovers, tinted glass, it's a factory-correct Wimbledon White paint color complemented by a deluxe burgundy pony interior.
Originally sold new in Phoenix at Canyon Ford, this California Special remained here most of its life. A rust-free environment ensured the current owner of a solid and rust-free candidate before he embarked on a very straightforward restoration, where over $10,000 were invested to achieve the magnificent end result seen here.
The entire undercarriage and engine compartment were tirelessly stripped and carefully detailed to make her look like she left the San Jose, CA assembly plant a half-century ago.
