When you first saw one of these coupes, its mix of muscular and sleek lines made you vow right there that someday you would own one. The IROC-Zs are truly stunning machines, and this one is near the top of that class. The center console houses most of the controls, plus the shifter for the new automatic transmission. GM's bulletproof and powerful 5.7-liter V8 with Tuned-Port Injection sits under the hood and offers several newly replaced parts to make for an enjoyable driver. The 16-inch alloys are in outstanding condition and wear 245/50/16 Cooper radials. The cabin features front bucket seats and individual rear seats trimmed in black and gray cloth, and matching upholstery extends to the door panels and the new carpet and floor match. Equipment includes updated R134 air conditioning, a Delco/Bose AM/FM cassette, and power windows, a tilt steering column, cruise control all makes the IROC feel like the top-of-the-line car that it is. The new three-spoke steering wheel frames a 145-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 64kmiles, although the true mileage is unknown due to the replacement of the speedometer. If you grew up in the '80s, this was the car to beat on the street, with an awesome combination of traditional muscle car acceleration and impressive handling.
