The 1956 F100 is a one-year only body style and is easily identified as it has vertical windshield pillars and a wraparound windshield as opposed to the sloped pillars and angled windshield of the 1953-55. 1956 Ford F100 Pickup finished in light blue paint with touches of custom pinstriping all over the truck and with tan and blue interior. While inside the cab one should notice the added features of power steering, power brakes, Vintage Air and a Kenwood stereo. The hood on this truck hinges forward toward the front of the truck to expose the 351CID Windsor V8 that is paired up with a C4 automatic transmission. The motor has been dressed up with features that include a Derale Performance electric cooling fan, Champion aluminum radiator, Weiand Stealth intake, Edlebrock carburetor, MSD ignition and distributer, mid-length headers, polished air cleaner and polished valve covers with Ford Racing stamped in them. Truck bed is furnished off with wood and stainless inserts, both appearing to be refreshed along the line. Gas fill has been relocated to the truck bed as well. The wood-like rimmed Grant steering wheel fronts a polished instrument cluster that houses new AutoMeter gauges that include oil pressure, water temperature, tachometer, battery voltage, fuel gauge, and a 120-mph speedometer.
