SeatbeltsGateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is exited about this addition to our inventory. This is a 1965 Ford Mustang GT Fastback A code, 289 4v. 4 speed car with AC. This is one cool car. The 65 GT package added many cool features to the Mustang. Rear trumpet exhaust coming thru the rear valance. Gt fender emblems replaced the running horse on the front fenders, and snake eye fog lamps found their way into the grill. There is a Gt emblem on the gas cap as well. This Mustang has a great exterior finished in Black with a Red interior. The front seats have been upgraded to a high back version of the originals and the windows have been upgraded to power. I know you see the cranks in the pictures, a simple touch on the crank and they go up or down very smoothly. It is very cool. The factory dash has had the original gauges removed and replaced by a modern system including a digital odometer. The rear seat is the factory fold down and the car also has a console. The wood steering wheel accents the interior and it is also equipped with tilt wheel. There is an updated AM FM stereo that has the vintage look in the dash. This Mustang GT is equipped with a 355 Turlock rear and coil over suspension up front. A set of American Racing Shelby Wheels rolls it down the highway in style. Front disc and rear drum brakes combine to stop this Mustang in a hurry.
