Purchased in 2006, the current owner put a lot of time and hard work making this truck what it is, a beautiful example of trucks the way they were meant to be built! The truck underwent an incredible build which included a great metallic blue and silver two-stage PPG® paint job done by Parlin Auto Body of New Jersey in 2012. Mechanically speaking, this 1982 Chevy has you covered! Powering this pickup is a 350 CID JEGS® Crate Engine installed in 2011 and topped with an Edelbrock® 1406 650 cfm carburetor and intake. Listen to this engine purr through the custom exhaust with catalytic converter, built in 2011 by Keyport Muffler Shop. Additional features include: Corvette Racing rims from JEGS®, a Rebuilt Fuel System, New Tanks, Senders, Floats, Switch and Valves. The automatic transmission was rebuilt in 2006 by Andersen Transmissions in Elmont, NY. The rear end and driveshaft were rebuilt in 2011. Rebuilt Front End from Moog® in 2011. Stripped and Painted Frame in Rustoleum® Black in 2011. New Radiator from 2009, New Glass in 2012, Rhinolined chrome bumpers in 2012, New Leaf Springs in 2011, new belts and hoses, Air Conditioning, Master Cylinder, Power Brake Booster, New Steel and rubber brake lines, and calipers. The hood is a metal cowl hood purchased in 2012 from Road Runners Accessories of Woodbridge, NJ. Open the doors and take a peek inside the spacious and comfortable gray cloth interior with newly upholstered Rayco® seats, new floor mats and AM/FM Radio.
