Vinyl InteriorWe are excited to have a 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H. If you are a Mustang enthusiast then you have probably heard about the Shelby, Hertz program. This is one of those cars. Originally shipped to a Ford dealer in Richmond Va. This car is in the Shelby registry. The deal with the Hertz Corporation to offer ~1,000 G.T. 350s for rental that, after their rental-car lives were finished, were returned to Ford, refurbished, and sold to the public as "G.T. 350H" models. Most Hertz cars were black with gold LeMans stripes and rocker panel stripes, although a few were white with blue stripes. The car has all its original sheet metal and is a rust-free car. The undercarriage is original and has only been touched up. It still has chalk marks from the factory. This car was repainted in 2013 and is now base coat clear coat. The rocker stripes have been clear coated as well. The first 85 Hertz cars were available with four-speed manual transmissions and Hertz advertised them as "Rent-a-Racer" cars. Ford pushed another 800 models on Hertz with black paint, gold stripes and black interior, as well as automatic transmissions. This Hertz Mustang is one of those cars. It has also been upgraded with a Paxton Supercharger. Check out the dash mounted tach just as it was in 1966. The car is currently sporting a set of Torq-thrust wheels and radial tires. In addition, the original Rally Wheels with the Hertz insignia will also be included. Don’t miss the opportunity to own one of the rarest of Mustangs. These Hertz cars are not available very often.
