The story of the ZR-1 began in 1986 when GM approached Lotus with the concept of developing the fastest production car. What resulted was a 5.7L 32 valve, aluminum block V8 engine christened the LT5 which required special assembly by Mercury Marine. After the engines were completed, they were shipped off to Bowling Green to meet their new host C4. Here you have one such example of a low-mileage ZR-1 with an intimidating appearance package of black paint with black interior. The sleek lines of the C4 are overshadowed by the presence of the regal powerplant that boasts over 375 horsepower! This car will really get up and go.
