1958 Chevrolet Corvette

For sale in our Orlando showroom is a Jaw Dropping Original 1958 Chevrolet Corvette. The Chevrolet Corvette, known colloquially as the Vette, is a sports car manufactured by Chevrolet. The car has been produced through seven generations. The first model, a convertible, was introduced at the GM Motorama in 1953 as a concept show car. Myron Scott is credited for naming the car after the type of small, maneuverable warship called a corvette. Originally built in Flint, Michigan and St. Louis, Missouri, the Corvette is currently manufactured in Bowling Green, Kentucky and is the official sports car of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The 1958 Corvette received a body and interior freshening which included a longer front end with quad headlamps, bumper exiting exhaust tips, a new steering wheel, and a dashboard with all gauges mounted directly in front of the driver. Exclusive to the 1958 model were hood louvers and twin trunk spears. This 1958 Corvette was outfitted with Shure Fit A/C and Heat, along with a new AM/FM Radio to keep you comfortable and jamming on those long road trips and short beach cruises. The Vette was also upgraded with Power Steering and a 15" steering wheel to make those nights just a little better. The Vette is also equip with the original hard top and a brand new soft top... who needs 'em? This Truly Awesome example of an All American Icon is numbers matching and the complete restoration of this beauty was done in 2011. It has plenty of years for fun and happiness ahead of it.
