AM/FM RadioFor sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1977 Ford F250. The sixth generation of F series pickups from Ford definitely benefitted from five previous generations of learning experience. Increased cabin dimensions from moving the fuel tank under the bed, which was actually a common modification done by owners of previous generations, allowed for the introduction of the Super Cab. These trucks were also redesigned for strength as well including more galvanized steel usage and double walled bed construction. This F250 is equipped with the stout yet often misunderstood 400CID V8. The 351/400M series of engines are often seen as nothing more than a smog motor in most peoples minds but a little knowledge goes along way if one is looking to build power from one. In the Australian market these engines were used much in the same way the 350/400 small block Chevy was used here in the U.S. The Australian issue 400M did not have all of the emissions equipment tacked on to it and could be optioned from the factory with a 4bbl carb and 4v heads which are still readily available and fairly cost effective to make stout HP gains out of something that is usually dismissed in the Ford world. This F250 is a very well optioned truck with power steering, power brakes, AM/FM radio, tri fold tonneau cover and automatic transmission.
