For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1970 Ford Mustang MACH1. Now it is important to remember that in the ’70 we Americans were obsessed with speed. The speed of sound had just been broken by a cocky pilot by the name of Chuck Yeager. Not long after that the SST or supersonic transport started carrying people back and forth across the Atlantic faster than the speed of sound. Most of the 1960’s and early ‘70’s revolved around the speed of sound, or MACH 1. In 1969 Ford introduced the Mustang MACH 1 to the public and it was an instant success. With body lines so smooth it made all my young friends swear they would own one as soon as they got their license. This was the pony car to own and everyone was sure they could be like Chuck and break the sound barrier in one. This 1970 Mustang MACH 1 for sale was outfitted from the factory with a 4 valve 351 Cubic inch engine. The original 351 was topped with a meek two barrel carburetor but somewhere along the line someone cut this pony some slack and topped the engine off with a four barrel qudrajet , letting this little pony edge closer to the limit. The transmission of choice for this 1970 Mustang for sale is a three speed manual to plant the power to the tires. This MACH1 for sale is dressed in white with a bold black stripe running up the hood and matching this on the trunk is a black wing, sitting behind the louvers that cover the rear window. A horizontal stripe across the top of the trunk lid proudly lets everyone behind it know that it is indeed a MACH 1 that is in front of them. So, you know you have wanted one of these for some time, but they are not up for sale very often and the price seems to be moving faster than the speed of light, catch this one before it breaks the barrier.

Options for this 1970 MACH 1 for sale include: AM/FM cassette player, Power steering, Power brakes, Bias ply tires wrapped around alloy wheels.
