For those of you under 35, a magazine is like a newspaper only stapled in the middle and printed on glossy paper with lots of photos, but I digress. This Wagoneer has a fresh coat of off-white paint and wood grain but have no fear, no trees were harm as the wood grain used here is vinyl just like it came from the factory. The interior is a mixture of blue and tan and shows how much this Grand Wagoneer has been loved through the years. Powering this Jeep is a Chrysler 360 Cubic inch V8 that is bolted to a torque flight 727 3 speed automatic transmission that handles all the gear changes for you and sends the power to Dana 44 Axles to all four tires. Selec- trac four wheel drive, that is how Dad got to his favorite super secret fishing hole, or how the Bikini clad young ladies got their surf boards to the beach depending on the Magazine you where reading in 1984. These early SUV's where all about the outdoors, Campin, fishin or huntin, (not sure why but if you do it outdoors you have to leave the “G" off) the Jeep Wagoneer was the way to get you there in style and get you home should the weather turn for the worst.
