This '65 Cutlass is powered by a 462 cubic inch V8 engine backed by a G-force 4-speed manual transmission running to a 9" Strange aluminum rear end with 4.11 gears. The build started with a 1969 Oldsmobile Toronado 455 cubic inch V8 that was balanced, decked and bored .030 over to a 462 CID. The Holley 830 cfm double pumper carburetor and Edelbrock Performer dual-plane intake manifold are modified to handle the Mondello NOS system. The engine features Edelbrock aluminum heads, stainless valves with bronze guides, Harland-Sharp roller rockers, Engle cam and TRW forged aluminum pistons. The NASCAR-spec manual 4-speed and Hurst shifter run to a Mondello aluminum drive shaft and a Strange 9'' rear end with 4.11 gears. The Hooker Super Comp headers run to Flowmaster mufflers and the classic sounds great. The suspension consists of Delco gas shocks on all four corners with Lakewood traction bars, Lee Powers 12:1 Winston cup steering box and four-wheel disc brakes. The Oldsmobile looks amazing in Demon Black with Red/Black leather Recaro seats. Other features include: E-Body 'Cuda shaker hood, ASC power sunroof, Roll Bar, Simpson 5-point harnesses, and a hidden Sony stereo system with amp and subs.
