By 1966 they were rushing off of the production line and were on everyone's gift list. This piece of history is turnkey ready to go! This '65 Mustang has been owned by the same individual since 1966 and is finally ready for a new owner. The car spent its first 5 years in California before being brought here to the Midwest. The car was professionally restored back in 1995 after it was stored and not driven for 10 years as the owner was out to the country on a work assignment. The body was painted back to its original Springtime Yellow exterior color and is complimented with a black interior with vinyl front bucket seats and center console just as it was when it rolled out of the factory. This 1965 Ford Mustang is powered by its original 289 CID V8 engine, backed by a C4 3-speed automatic transmission, and running to a conventional rear end with 2.80 gears. The original C code 289 CID V8, 2V engine was rebuilt with roughly 5,000 miles on the rebuild and has plenty of years of enjoyment ahead of it for its new owner.
