The impressive build on this Fox Body classic started with a 351 cubic inch Windsor that was stroked out to 408 cubic inches. The build-up included a set Edelbrock Performer RPM heads with K.8. forged stroker pistons and forged I-Beam rods along with a Comp Hy-Roller cam and a 4.000 stroker crankshaft. A Holley Street Avenger 670 carburetor and an Edelbrock dual-plane air gap intake manifold are paired with a Carter electric fuel pump. The Mustang is set up to run on premium pump gas and has a compression ratio of 10.5:1. The driveline is equally impressive with a Ford Racing steel bellhousing, a stage-2 clutch and a Ford Racing aluminum driveshaft running to a rear end with 3.73 gears and positraction. The suspension and breaks were also redone at the time of restoration and include AJE tubular A-arms, Flaming River manual steering rack, BBK adjustable camber and caster plates, Strange adjustable rear shocks and UPR upper and lower control arms.
