For sale is a 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe located in our Indianapolis showroom. This 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe is powered by its numbers matching, rebuilt 302 CID V8 engine, backed by a rebuilt C4 3-speed automatic transmission, running to a conventional, 3.00 geared rear end. The 302 V8 was recently rebuilt, with only 628 miles since rebuild, and was bored .025 over with a mild cam installed that gives this Pony car more horsepower and a great exhaust tone. An aluminum Edelbrock Performer Intake was added along with a new Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, Ford Cobra valve covers, a billet distributer, and a set of headers. Also under the hood a new radiator was put in outfitted with an electric fan as well as an addition of a new alternator and battery. The C4 3-speed transmission was also rebuilt the same time the engine was and was topped with a nice Hurst ratchet shifter enabling you to bang through the gears on the strip or for some fun on the street. Options on this 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe include: AM/FM Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, and Radial Tires. Not only does this '68 Mustang run like a champ but it looks good too. The car recently had new complete left and right aprons and shock towers put in up front along with new floor and trunk pans. The car was then repainted back to its original Sunlit Gold Metallic paint color using a DuPont base coat/ clear coat and accented with black "C-Stripe" graphics down the sides. After paint , a new black vinyl top was put back on the car which looks great on this awesome '68 Coupe. Finishing off the look of this Mustang are a set of chrome 17" aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich radial tires measuring 245/40ZR17 in the front and 255/40ZR17 in the rear.
