The Pace Car was built with an impressive list of custom performance parts including: Magnaflow exhaust with Ford racing headers, cold air intake, Brembo f-50 calipers up front with Hawk pads and a carbon fiber drive shaft. The suspension was built to Grand-Am specs and includes a Ford Racing strut tower brace, Boy Racer coil over shocks, adjustable sway bars, BMR K-Frame, adjustable upper control arm and a Steeda bump steer kit. This prototype GT/CS is equipped with all of the bells and whistles that you would expect from Champ Car and Ford Racing. A Nascar style fuel cell was added along with an interior/exterior fire suppression system and a full roll cage. The pace car strobe lights are intact as well. The custom paint on this historical car was provided by Sherwin Williams Automotive Finishes and looks amazing. Even more rare is the fact that this Pace Car is street legal and registered.
