For sale is a 1966 Ford Mustang GT located in our Indianapolis showroom. This 1966 Ford Mustang GT is powered by a rebuilt Ford 302 CID V8 engine, backed by a C4 3-speed automatic transmission, running to a Ford 8" rear end with 3.00 gears. The small block 302 CID V8 is a rebuilt, high nickel block that was bored .30 over and has a hydraulic flat tappet 268 Comp Cam and is outfitted with a MSD Distributor and Plug Wires, SFI Balancer, Edelbrock Victor Polished Aluminum Intake, and a new Edelbrock 4-Barrel Carburetor with an Electric Choke that makes this an awesome street machine. A few other nice touches you will find under the hood are additions of an Aluminum Radiator and Overflow Canister, High Flow Flex Fan, Edelbrock Aluminum Water Pump, Polished Valve Covers and Air Filter Cover, Chrome A/C Compressor, Stainless Braided Heater Hoses and Fuel Lines, and a set of headers. Options on this 1966 Ford Mustang GT include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, and Radial Tires. The exterior is painted in a bright red base coat/clear coat and sports a Shelby hood and stripe package that really sets off this Mustang. The turn signals have been updated to LED lights as well as the rear lights, which are also sequential turn signals, giving it a modern touch. The interior on this classic Ford pony car is comprised of black vinyl seats, black carpeting and headliner with the addition of a nice set of Autometer gauges in the dash and a Moto-Lita Steering wheel. This '66 Mustang was also equipped with air conditioning from the factory and has been updated to run on R134A and blows cold. To improve overall drivability and handling a heavy duty sway bar was put in up front along with disc brakes and out back sub frame connectors were added along with tubular traction bars.
