The 1986 Corvette convertible was the first factory convertible option since 1975 and all were designed as Pace Car Replicas with a total number 7,315 being produced. The cars were shipped with the graphics in the trunk so the buyer could designate whether the graphics were applied or not. There were only 777 produced out the 7,315 in this Gold Metallic color and it would be hard to find another one as nice of condition as this one. This 1986 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Indy 500 Pace Car is powered by its numbers matching 5.7L 350 CID V8 engine, and is backed by a 700-R4 4-speed automatic transmission with only 23,893 actual miles. The factory L98 5.7L, 350 CID V8, Tuned Port Injection engine is rated at 235 horsepower and 330 ft./lbs. or torque and provides an ample amount of power for an enjoyable ride.
