Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to feature this 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible. Part of the first generation on Mustang line-up, the 1969 underwent an array of changes for the model year. With a more “added heft to the body" varying in body length to the width being increased by almost half an inch, and an overall heavier body than the previous years. 1969 was the first model to use quad headlamps placed both inside and outside of the grille opening. The corralled grille pony was replaced with the pony and tribars logo, set off-center to the driver's side.
This mustang has been gone through in a frame off restoration with a completely new interior. The overall goal on this car was to give the driver the most enjoyable and comfortable driver quality Mustang to enjoy. From the updated Bluetooth sound system to the leather interior taken straight from a new generation of mustang, this car ensures a fun, comfortable ride for anyone looking to cruise in style. The convertible top is new, and the automatic switch makes this car go from top-up to top-down in seconds. Powerful and fast, the fuel-injected Shelby 351 V8 really delivers with the smoothness of the automatic transmission moving through the gears.
Whether you are a collector or someone who wants to really enjoy driving around with modern accoutrements with a classic look, this Mustang is for you!
