1968 Corvettes are a big departure from the 63-67's, offering a dramatic new body and interior, while relying on the proven 63-67 chassis. Several engine options were made available, including the terrific 327 V8 found in this one. Interior comfort was superior in many ways to the C2's, affording a better seating angle and room. The C3 body was based on the 1964-1965 "Mako Shark" concept. Body panel fitment is better than your average '68, with good gaps and alignment and the 68-only door handles work well.
This driver quality Corvette is powered by a 327 Cubic inch motor and THM400 3 speed automatic transmission. She fires right up and sound tight & powerful, just like it should. The VIN prefix still graces the block, and a set of headers helps it breathe a little easier.
Complimenting the white exterior, a renewed blue interior makes for a stunning combination, especially with the T-tops removed. Inside you will find features such as power windows, t-tops with the original covers, power brakes, power steering, and an AM/FM radio.
