The Mustang is an American classic, and they have been sought after and revered since their introduction in 1964 . The fourth generation Mustangs were built from 1971-1973 model years, with 1973 being the last year of the pony car era. The Mustang fell victim to the energy crunch of the day, and the following year changed focus to a more economical car. This Mustang has been in the care of its current owner for the past 27 years. In that time the car has benefitted from new floor pans, a new hood, and repaint, as well as interior upgrades and regular engine maintenance. The original carburetor, intake and AM 8-track audio unit, as well as, rear seat interior trim panels are all available as a part of the sale. The factory air conditioning system is currently inoperable and would need properly diagnosed to determine whats wrong. Power comes from the tried and true 351 C V8, mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Other factory options include; vinyl interior, alloy wheels, power steering and brakes, spare tire, and power operating convertible top.
