Gateway Classic Cars is excited to present this 1968 Chevrolet Caprice two-door at our Milwaukee Location. The Chevrolet Caprice was manufactured from 1965-1996 by General Motors. In 1965 over one million Caprices were sold. It was the most popular full-sized American car that was made in the sixties and seventies. Sold as a 2-door, 4-door and wagon body styles with numerous engine and transmission options available. Many comfort features such as power steering, power brakes and air conditioning were available at an extra cost. Our second generation 1968 Chevrolet Caprice was manufactured for only two years. Body changes consisted of more rounded body lines, revised grille, revised instrument panel and a new steering wheel. Many critics state that this was the most attractive Caprice model produced in its long run. Under the hood of this beauty 1968 Caprice is an awesome 327 V-8 attached to a Turbo 400 Automatic transmission. Giving more than enough power to the 10-bolt rear end. This Chevy Caprice is painted in a stately medium blue with matching blue cloth interior. The full black vinyl roof and rally wheels are the finishing touches to a great looking car. Options including: power steering, power brakes and an aftermarket AM/FM radio. This unmolested 1968 Chevrolet Caprice truly deserves a place in American automotive history. Now is the time to put a little bit of this History in your garage.
