Although the Premiere came out in 1956 as a mid-level sedan under the Continental, by the time the 1958-1960 body style came out the model was as big in comparison as the Cadillac Sixty-Special of equivalent years. The later and last year of the Premiere was 1960 before the name would be used as a high trim package descriptor and this car featuring power seats, power locks, power windows, and power steering shows that this car was ahead of its time with technology and features despite its original intention as a mid-level car in the lineup. The Lincoln propels its large body along with a 430 cubic inch V8 which is attached to a 3-speed automatic transmission providing plenty of torque to this massive land yacht.
