A full- sized family car that was equipped with large power plants including a 383 cubic in. or a 440 cubic in. engine which were designed with performance in mind. This Plymouth Fury III features a 400 cubic inch B V8 4BL transplant engine bolted to a tried and true torque flight transmission. The 1968 Plymouth Fury III resulted in a family car that screams full size comfort with a touch of muscle. New government safety regulations led to many new improvements on this 1968 Plymouth Fury III convertible. Such improvements as a dual-circuit master cylinder with 11inch drum brakes. An energy absorbing steering column and steering wheel were also added for extra safety. Styling and refinement on this Fury III are highlighted by the matador red paint and black vinyl interior. There are many options including a power convertible top, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, and a factory AM radio with rear speaker which only add to the driving experience.
