This car was created out of the roots of the 30‘s hot rods. Plymouth designers had complete freedom in the design of this car. Using Chip Foose’s drawings as a baseline, they chopped the top off and went with an opened wheel design. Chrysler decided to put a high performance V6 in these cars. With the engine having the output specs of a V8 combined with how light this V6 is made it a win win for torque and speed. The same 50-50 weight distribution found in the C5 Corvette and the Porsche 944. It’s obvious why this car would have such a staggering 0-60 in under 6 seconds.
