A post war redesign that was larger, stronger and sleeker than its predecessor. This new model truck was an instant hit, making Chevrolet the number one selling truck in America. Even today, the 1946-55 Chevrolet 3100 has become an iconic pickup in the collector car market.
This 1953 Chevrolet 3100 pickup is painted in bright blue with period red wheels, trim rings, and wide white wall tires. A chrome grille, bumpers, and outside mirror add just enough bling. The pickup bed has a period wood floor. A gray vinyl interior looks exactly like it would have in 1953, right down to the factory gauges and heater box. Under the hood of this beauty is a 216 cubic inch I6 attached to a manual transmission w/ column shift.
