The Thunderbird was marketed as an upscale personal luxury model. 1964 marked the start of the fourth-generation model. Presented for the first time as a four-seater convertible or hardtop. An optional Roadster package was available on the convertibles which consisted of a fiberglass panel covering the backseat. Giving the visual effect of a streamlined two-seater roadster.
This 1964 Ford Thunderbird Roadster is painted in Rose Gold with a matching Rose Gold leather interior. It comes with the Roadster tonneau cover, fender skirts and the "real" factory wire wheels. Under the hood of this beauty is a 390 CID V-8 4V pumping out 300hp. This Thunderbird comes with a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. The exhaust is stainless steel including mufflers and resonators. Fuel lines, brake lines, and transmission lines are also stainless. The luxurious interior is well appointed with comfort options including front bucket seats, center console, air conditioning, tinted glass, power windows, vacuum door locks, safety convenience control panel, power driver's seat, door ajar light, power convertible top, and an AM/FM radio w/ rear speaker.
