Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1932 Ford two-door Roadster. This beauty is painted in in hugger orange with a meaty set of aluminum wheels and chrome wheels. The body has been chopped 3". Other body features include a filled cowl vent, "Wescott" fiberglass fenders, "V-8 Store" steel smoothie running boards, Deuce Factory S.S. head light bar, Dietz headlights, and a sunken power antenna. The tan cloth interior comes with split seats in the front with a bench in the rear. Modern gauges, a padded steering wheel w/tilt, seat belts, air conditioning, and an Am/FM/cd radio make this Ford a drivers dream.
Now to the meat and potatoes of this build, the engine and drivetrain. A 454 V-8 has been bored out .030 over with new pistons, rings, bearings, cam bearings. The block was balanced and assembled by Borchardts with hardened seats, three angle valve job and heads resurfaced. Moving up, a "Wolverine" cam, Holley fuel pump, Edelbrock 750 CFM hand choke carburetor, Sanderson Headers, Melling oil pump, hi-volume disc in stock water pump, Accel distributor, MSD ignition, a hi torque starter, Walker radiator and a Hotronics electric fan complete this extensive engine build.
The 400-turbo transmission was professionally rebuilt w/shift kit, TCI "Saturday Nite Special" convertor, and a B@M trans cooler and gauge. The rear end is a Ford 9" w/ 3:50 gears. Added features include Borchardt one piece turbo mufflers #7051. Posies rear springs a shocks, Magnum 4" dropped I-beam front axle, Posies front springs, TCI front shock kit, power ECI front disk brakes, rear rotors, and power steering from Flaming River.
