Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1923 Ford Model T-Bucket hot rod. Model Ts were some of the first cars to be customized from their original build. The use of a two-seater Model T was modified with a bucket shaped shell. As the years went on the engines got larger along with the addition of extremely fat rear tires and thin ones in the front. Most are built with trick paint jobs and over-the-top interiors. Driving a T-bucket with an engine almost as big as the body is truly an exhilarating experience.
This 1923 Ford Model T-Bucket hot rod is painted in fire engine red with a wood trimmed rear box. The chromed-out V-8 engine is attached to a three-speed automatic transmission. A healthy set of side pipes produce a deep exhaust rumble. And of course, it would not be a T-bucket without those big fat tires in the rear. Front disk brakes have been installed for those sudden stops. The interior is appointed in tan vinyl. Modern appointments include a wood tilt steering wheel and a full gauge package.
