Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is proud to present this 1964 Willys Jeep Station Wagon. It was built from 1946-1964 as the first all steel mass produced station wagon. The two-wheel option was the “Station Wagon" model, and the four-wheel variation was marketed as the “Utility Wagon" when introduced in 1949. Many consider the Willys Jeep station wagon to be the forerunner to the now ever popular sport utility vehicle. Production ends at the end for the Willys Station Wagon in the last months of 1964 with the introduction of the Jeep Wagoneer.
This 1964 Willys Jeep Station Wagon is painted in a striking silver/ black two-tone color scheme. Chrome bumpers and trim along with a set of raised white outline tires mounted on American Racing five-spoke alloy wheels highlight this Willys over the top appearance. Upgraded LED headlights and taillights are a great added feature. The standout interior comprises of black/silver vinyl with red cording on both the seats, door panels and cargo panels. Wood slates have been installed on the cargo floor. Other interior comfort features include Dolphin gauges, Kenwood AM/FM/cd radio, heater box, seatbelts, and tilt steering wheel. Under the hood of this beauty is a Chevrolet 350 V-8 attached to a 700R4 automatic transmission. Sending power to the rear wheels through a Ford Explorer rear end. Power steering and front disk brakes make driving this 1964 Willys Jeep Station Wagon a great driving machine.
