Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee is proud to present this 1932 Ford Hi-Boy! No car captures the spirit of Hot Rodding like the ’32 Ford! When the Ford Model A debuted in the late 1920’s it was a welcome design change from the Model T that was getting long in tooth. Then in 1932 the Ford Motor Company debuted its first V-8 engine and from there a legend was born! After World War II, the returning GIs developed a need for speed and Hot Rodders all over the US were creating light and fast cars!
Our featured Hi-Body sports a 350 cubic inch Chevrolet Goodwrench High Output engine paired to a 4-speed Muncie transmission matched with a Hurst shifter and skull shifter knob. The power is released at the rear wheels through a Ford 9” rear end, 3.50:1 locker attached to a Lang cast aluminum “Quick Change” cover and Sommers Brothers axles. Other goodies include the Mooneyes brand gauges, tear drop tail lights with blue dots, Lobeck ’32 grille and shell without the crank hole, a 14 gallon fuel tank, and much more! The fiberglass body is painted a beautiful “Montoya Maroon” color with subtle “Chinese Red” and “Ivory Cream” pinstriping trough the body lines and hood louvers. The car also featured body painted 15” steel wheels with ’39 Ford dog dish style hub caps and beauty rings. Inside you will find a simple yet stunning interior with a Chocolate Brown leather bench seat and 4-spoke steering wheel.
