Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1978 MGB convertible. The MGB was manufactured from 1962-1980. It was marketed as a four-cylinder soft top sport car by British Leland of England. The MGB has been considered as a nicely styled, affordable, fun driving car. Even today, the timeless design of the MGB is just as popular today as it was 40 plus years ago.
Our 1978 MGB convertible is a nice example of the British sports car phenomenon of the 1960s and 70s. Painted in fire engine red with a black vinyl interior and convertible top. A luggage rack, racing stripes and steel wheels add to the sporty look. Under the hood is a 1.8- liter four -cylinder engine attached to a four-speed manual transmission. The engine was overhauled about 10,000 miles ago including modifications including a Weber carburetor, Rally cam and oil cooler. Newer carpet and convertible top have also been installed. The original hard top also comes with the car.
This 1978 MGB has to be one of the most fun cars to drive around town in. Do not miss out on your chance to own a piece of British automotive history.
