Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1966 Ford Mustang. The Mustang has become one of the most iconic cars ever produced. The Mustang is Fords longest continuous car produced to date. Mustang success is unmatched with over 400,000 units sold in its first year of production alone. Lighting the match for other American competitors to get into compact car market with such names as Chevrolet Camaro, AMC Javelin and Dodge Challenger.

This 1966 Ford Mustang is a build to be reckoned with. Under the hood of this monster is a 302/347 V-8 attached to a G-Force T-5 transmission with a Modern Driveline hydraulic clutch system. The engine build consists of AFR cylinder heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Scorpion rocker arms, Comp Cams pushrod set, Ford Motor Sport valve covers, Comp Cams camshaft, Johnson OEM style lifters, Melling True Roller timing set, ARP main bearing stud kit, Melling H.P. pump and ARP driveshaft, Mahle Power Pak piston kit, Scat steel crank, Scat connecting rods, ACL perf. Rod bearings and main bearings, ARP head bolts, Dura Bond cam bearing kit, ARO fly wheel, Power Bond harmonic balancer. The car was also upgraded with an MSD Atomic fuel injection system. All this power is attached to a 9- inch posi rear end with a 3.70 gear ratio. Lastly to ensure the Mustang will stop on a dime, Wilwood Dynalite disc brakes and Hyrdatech Hydroboost braking system has also been added.

One look at this Ivy Green 1966 Mustang and your heart will truly be missing a beat. The cream white racing stripes, hood scoop, and side air intakes reflect the nostalgic look of a 1966 Mustang. Vintage Wheel Works alloy wheels give this Mustang one mean stance. Open the door and you will be delighted by the period black vinyl bucket seat interior. Power steering w/ tilt and power brakes make this mean machine one fun car to drive. The modern gauge package is a great addition. Do not miss out on this “over the top" 1966 Mustang build.
