The Continental Mark V is the fourth generation Personal Luxury produced by Ford from 1977-1979 and was the highest selling of the Mark Series with over 228,000 being produced. The 1977 was the largest coupe produced by Ford coming in at 230" long and tipping the scales at 4600 lbs. The sharp-edged design was so successful that it was carried over into the 1980's models.
The 1977 model is one of the Emilio Pucci Designer Editions with a Black Diamond Fire Metallic exterior, plush white interior and the White Cayman Grain Landau Vinyl Roof. This 1977 example is an all metal bodied car with the optional Turbine Style Forged Aluminum Wheels. Powering this Mark V is a 6.6 ltr / 400 ci V8 producing 166hpo and 319 ft lbs torgue mated up to a 3 speed C6 transmission.
