Vinyl InteriorThis 1969 Ford F100 Long bed is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 69 F100 used completely interchangeable suspension components from thru the whole line up. This meant the 1/2 ton pickups use the same stuff as the F250 making them very strong in the long run. Not only that but they had a wide array of motor options as well as using an industry first independent front suspension. This not only made them last longer but gave them car like handling. This 69 F100 is a great running truck that has been kept pretty much original. Having been owned by the same family since new it has seen one repaint back to the original white. Pop the hood and you will find the original 360 CID motor that just had a fresh oil pump and timing chain installed giving it a clean bill of health. The choke on the dash still works as you will need to give it a little choke on those colder days. The 3 speed automatic shifts nicely with the rear end not making any weird noises. A full set of brand new radial tires were just put on including a full size spare which is kept in the back. Just to make sure all this metal can come to a stop when needed the drums and pads are fresh all the way around as well. The interior was next with the bench seat pulled out and having a new cover put on the decision for new carpet was made making a huge difference. Finishing off the interior were new period correct door panels that complete this dark maroon vinyl interior.
