1967 Ford Mustang

This 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1967 would be the first time since its inception that the little pony car would get a significant change. Well actually it didn’t so much change as it just got bigger. The grille featured a larger opening as well as larger simulated air scoops on the side. Probably the most distinct change was the taillights which now consisted of 3 vertical lenses on each side of the rear deck. This particular ‘67 was completely disassembled and placed on a rotisserie while the freshly built 289 4 barrel was sourced. It is a true ‘67 “A” code motor that sounds like a small cam may have been added. In order to feed the new motor, a completely new fuel system including the fuel pump, tank, sending unit and all lines (hard and soft) were installed. With the go part taken care of the stopping side was the next on the agenda. Just like the fuel system, the brake system was brought back to life using all new parts. From the master cylinder, to the rotors, everything was replaced including all new lines, calipers and shoes. Keeping everything riding smoothly down the road was taken care of with all new suspension. The KYB performance shocks are stiff enough to aid in handling but soft enough so you don’t break your teeth over that next pothole. With all of your basics taken care of the next step was to add the creature comforts and this 67 definitely has those. From power steering to the completely new Classic Auto Air AC and heat unit there was no corners cut here. The original vents and controls were used adding to the classic look. The all new black interior just makes the red that much redder. Top it all off with the new black top and this pony is ready to ride or show totally up to you.
