The body was completely redesigned with the coupe losing its fastback window but gaining a removable back window and removable t-tops for that almost convertible feel. The chassis itself did not change much from the 1967 model. Another fact is the 1968 Corvette did not have the Stingray budging on the body, but it did return in 1969. This particular 1968 Corvette is a numbers matching 427 CID 390 HP big block car. The original transmission is the Turbo Hydra-matic. Included with this car are the original Bill of Sale, Protecto Plate, and owner’s manual. While it has been years ago, this Corvette scored 4395 out of a possible 4500 at a NCRS (National Corvettes Restorers Society). Options included are; AM/FM Radio, T-tops, Leather Interior, and Red Line Bias Ply Tires.
