This 79 Mark V is a great example of one of the last great "land yachts" to come out of Detroit. With currently only 70487 original miles this Lincoln has lived a much pampered life. With the Collector Series option it is by far the most sought after of all 70's era Lincolns. This particular one is the gorgeous Midnight Blue Moondust Metallic that looks amazing with the huge chrome accenting bumpers. Unique paint stripes run down the hood and body side as well as the signature script on the rear roof quarters let everyone know that you had the best of the best. Gold colored grille bars and a padded contoured deckled accent with matching vinyl insert also set it apart. Naturally this abundance did not come cheap adding almost $8000 to the base price bringing this last of the "land yachts" sticker price to over 22000. That would be almost 71000 in today’s dollars. This was also one of the first cars to offer the "miles to empty" feature which took place of the low fuel light. Open the door and this Lincoln and you will see an interior that is covered in leather and looks like it has hardly ever been sit in. Pop the long hood and you will see a 400 CID Cleveland motor. This was the standard motor and with 329 LBFT of torque it had plenty of get up and go. With a list options that include A/C, AM/FM/Tape, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Radial Tires and Heated Driver Mirror.
