All that is needed to take this car from average to show stopper, is a fresh coat of paint. The original 350 has been replaced with a 350 from a 1974 Chevelle. The 350 V8 is connected to a 4-speed manual transmission and it shifts great. The current owner replaced the following items with new pieces; leather seats, door panels, carpet, park brake console, seat belts, convertible top, convertible top gaskets, convertible top pads, parking brake pads, parking brake cable, halogen headlights, and several rear end parts. Two years before that these items were replaced; Firestone Indy 500 tires (only 100 miles on them), brake rotors, brake calipers, brake lines, master cylinder, fuel pump, radiator core, correct exhaust system (including chrome tips), rebuilt distributor, and Quadrajet Carburetor. This Corvette also comes with a hard top in the same color as the car. The car was originally Donnybrook Green and was repainted Monaco (Hugger) Orange in 1978. The lacquer paint shows its age, but still looks good. This 1970 Corvette is a very nice classic.
