In 1967 Chevrolet made a major overhaul to the Corvette brand when they unveiled the all new C3 corvette for the 1968 model year. The Mako Shark II design for the car was conceived by Larry Shinoda. The C3 corvette was produced all the way until 1982. For those 14 years Chevrolet would make many changes, many of which were suggestions from their customer base. This is a '73 model and the red paint still has a shine to it but she has had some enjoyment on the road. T-Tops function with ease and create a nice balance between a coupe and convertible. The black vinyl interior looks comfortable and is in good order. The rally wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial TA's completes the stance. Per the owner, under the hood is the original 350ci V8 engine backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. Car runs, drives, and shifts out well. Current owner has had her for the vast majority of her life at over 43 years! Believed privately acquired from the original owner.
