In the mid 60's Ford developed and released a car that would become one of the longest produced cars in American History! The paint still has a good shine but is not without blemishes. The panels line up nicely, and that makes for a quality appearance as the light rolls across the sheet metal. The '68 car had a bit more of an aggressive style than the early first-gen Mustangs, and this one seems to show off that personality well. You have the deluxe hood, bright dual exhaust tips, and Mag-style wheels that all give this a nice GT-like style. And the black side stripes emphasize what's under the hood. The full black interior is quite inviting. The carpeting, door panels, dash, and headliner are all in good condition. This is built with the driver in mind with the upgraded sports seats and a center console in-between. Plus, a classic cruiser needs the right upgrades for modern times. That is why you have a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner, A/C and even the original window cranks are now used to control the power windows. Under the hood is a Ford 302 cubic-inch V8 mated to a Ford C4 3-speed automatic transmission. The sound from this 302 is invigorating and the car runs and drives strong and the 3.73 gear ratio gives you a nice balance of performance and cruising. This Mustang has Stewart Warner Gauges, updated Aluminum Radiator, and Upgraded Power Brakes. Current owner acquired from our Atlanta store.
