In 1974 the Cherokee was born. Upon its introduction this legend promptly earned the “Achievement Award” from Four -heeler Magazine that would later become the Four-Wheeler of the Year recognition. Dubbed the SJ series, the Cherokee would run from 1974-1983. Here we have a ’79 4-door Model. The white paint is in good order, the blue vinyl interior looks very good! Under the hood is the believed original 360ci V8 running the power out through a 3-speed automatic transmission. Owner states the gear ratio to be a 3:01. The SJ runs and drives out very well, we were very impressed by it. Current owner acquired her from a private owner out of Tennessee. Title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now. We don’t see many jeeps of this era unmolested and clearly been this well cared for.
