Vinyl InteriorThis 1963 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. The 5th generation of the Dynamic 88 was a full sized car known for being one of the first Oldsmobiles with a full coil suspension set up. This gave a much more modern feel with less squeaks and rattles while hurtling down the road. These cars were available with 6 different body styles while this bubble hard top variant is known as the Holiday Coupe. This stunning example came into our showroom showing 75,000 actual miles along with its original 349CID V8 and original Hydromatic 3 speed automatic transmission. This v8 has a deep tone as it idles smoothly and starts right up with its Rochester 2BBI carburetor. Power is sent to a set of 323 gears as well. This Dynamic underwent an exterior and interior restoration in 2017 All original paint was removed with a chemical stripping compound to prevent body distortion. A Regal Mist / Imperial paint scheme was sprayed on this straight as an arrow body. New red cloth and black vinyl was sourced to refurbish the front and back seats to showroom spec. While most Oldsmobiles of this vintage fell to the wayside and have returned to mother earth, this Dynamic is running strong and showing proud!
